Peter Keefe, Creator of Cartoon ‘Voltron,’ Dies at 57
Peter Keefe, the creator and executive producer of “Voltron: Defender of the Universe,” a hugely popular 1980s cartoon series that helped prepare the way for other Japanese-style animation in the United States, died on May 27 in Rochester, N.Y. He was 57.
no lie, i cannot hide my geekish leanings. really would love a daughter that would want to dress up as VOLTRON for a superhero dress up, this kid is a baller.
i miss that cartoon. must look into maybe getting the dvd series. good times.
The boys at Coming Attractions got the chance to visit World Event Productions, the home office of the “Voltron” movie, and came away with some news about the upcoming film. In short, it’s still in development, but there have been some major changes since last we heard.
